Plant of the Month: Cotinus Coggygria Young Lady
With delicate, wispy foliage that resembles plumes of smoke, the Cotinus Coggygria Young Lady is October's Plant of the Month.

Originating from the Netherlands, and commonly known as ‘smoke bush,’ the Cotinus Coggygria Young Lady is a dwarf plant producing a 1.2m bush on reaching maturity.
With attractive, rounded green leaves, this shrub bursts into a spectacular display in the summer months - flowering freely with large plumes of peachy pink flowers that resemble smoke, the foliage turns stunning shades of red and orange before falling in autumn.
Cotinus Coggygria Young Lady’s slow growing nature and compact size makes this deciduous shrub ideal for small gardens to bring both texture and colour. It can be grown in both containers and borders, and thrives in fertile, well-drained soil in sunny or partially shaded areas.
