A sharp and clean porcelain paving was suggested for the key seating areas, incorporating some blue engineering bricks from the same manufacturer as the roof tiles on the house, to tie the garden and house designs together. In addition, a very traditional and timeless natural Peak stone was used to build the retaining walls and steps.
As the substantial-sized pond in the garden creates a wonderful anchor point when viewed through the large glass doors, the addition of some soft and naturalistic planting helped to complete the desired effect.
